However, one customer who used this product to fabricate a cold air intake for their '81 Corvette concluded that it would have been cheaper to use some 4" diesel exhaust piping, silicone couplers, hump hose connector, and clamps. They also encountered some issues, including having a lot of left-over tubing, the air filter being too big to fit in the engine compartment, and missing a straight rubber coupler. When they contacted the seller, they were promised that they would get one, but they never received it.
