Superior Threads Sewing THRDHLDERNEW Editorial Review
The Superior Threads Holder Thread Stand is a versatile tool that can hold all sizes of thread spools and cones. It is compatible with any sewing machine and can be used for regular sewing as well as machine embroidery. The stand is made from heavy material and has grippy feet to prevent slipping, making it stable and sturdy on any table. The stand is adjustable and can accommodate different machines, making it a convenient option for sewists with multiple machines. However, there are some issues with the stand. It can be bulky and a bit difficult to thread at the top. Some users have experienced problems with the thread pin unscrewing and falling out, but this can be resolved by ensuring that the spool rotates in the correct direction. The stand is also lightweight and can topple over, especially when filling a bobbin, so some users have resorted to taping it down. There have been a few instances where the thread gets snagged in the coiled area of the rod arm, leading to the thread breaking. Overall, while the Superior Threads Holder Thread Stand has its drawbacks, it is a useful tool for holding different sizes of thread spools and cones.
