Users appreciate the table's aesthetic appeal, noting its ability to blend seamlessly into various decor styles ranging from modern to traditional. Constructed with a mahogany brown finish, the table presents a polished look that enhances any living space. One of the standout features of this coffee table is its two spacious drawers, which provide convenient storage for items like reading glasses, remotes, and magazines. Customers find the drawers to operate smoothly and appreciate their ample size, making it easier to keep the living area tidy. Many reviewers welcomed the compact 42-inch design, which is especially beneficial for those with limited space. Assembly is reported to be straightforward, with the majority of customers easily completing the setup by themselves. The table's top and drawers come pre-assembled, and only minimal installation is needed for the legs and drawer pulls. This aspect has been positively highlighted, with several users expressing satisfaction over the ease of assembly. However, some customers have raised concerns regarding the materials used in the table's Construction. Issues such as discrepancies in descriptions claiming "solid wood" were reported, with some customers discovering that the tops are actually made of a faux wood veneer. This has led to disappointment among certain users, as they found the surface to be less durable and susceptible to damage from water. Overall, the Simpli Home Cosmopolitan Coffee Table is well-received for its style, functionality, and ease of assembly, balancing utility with a contemporary aesthetic. Buyers should be aware of potential quality concerns regarding the materials to manage their expectations regarding long-term durability. **
