This Wolverine Flat Tool Sharpening Platform is a solid piece of kit that is adjustable and allows for horizontal movement towards and away from the grinder. It adjusts for tilting and locks tight. The base is heavy gauge aluminum and the tool rest platform is made of steel. It has been used for HSS lathe tool bits and chisels. This product works for both sides and is easy to set up and use. The quality and Construction are very good.Some customers complain it comes with NO mounting instructions, mounting screws, etc., though one customer states they mounted it with screws to their bench and it worked fine. Others have reported issues with adjusting the height. However, most customers are very happy with the product and say that it is built like a tank and that they can feel the quality right out of the box. Furthermore, this appeared to be an American made product which was a plus for some reviewers.
