- Combat Max Roach Killing Bait for small roaches is formulated with food that German roaches and other small roaches prefer. Contains fipronil insecticide, which starts killing within hours. The roach killer bait starts killing overnight - it kills the roaches you see and the ones you don't, protecting your home against roaches. Like all Combat products, these roach bait killer stations target the nest to eliminate the source of the problem. Combat Max baits are easy to use, child-resistant, need no activation, and can be used anywhere you see roaches. Simply place them down for up to 6 months of continuous roach control. No vapor, fumes, mess, or odor roach bait station. Use all baits. Break the baits apart. Do not remove or puncture the labels on the bait stations. Place baits wherever you have seen roaches, then place additional baits about 1½ feet away. See diagrams on the package for places where roaches commonly hide. Place baits carefully so they are touching walls or corners. Do not use sprays or foggers around bait stations. Do not use in beehives.
