Action & Adventure Editorial Review
Thor the Conqueror is an Italian-made fantasy film that attempts to imitate the success of Conan the Barbarian on a shoestring budget. Unfortunately, the attempt falls flat and the movie fails to offer a coherent plot or engaging characters. Despite this, the reviewer finds the film’s outdated 80s aesthetic, with its emphasis on hair and teeth, to be amusing in a so-bad-it’s-good kind of way. Overall, the film is poorly acted and directed with limited dialogue and bad wigs, making for a remarkably dull viewing experience.
