aFe Power Intercoolers Editorial Review
The aFe Power 46-20138-B BladeRunner intercooler tube kit has garnered mixed reviews from customers, revealing a divide in user experiences. On one side, several buyers have reported positive outcomes, noting that the product effectively replaced cracked and leaking components, restoring turbo boost performance and eliminating problematic “rolling coal” emissions during normal driving. Users appreciated enhancements in alignment features, such as stencils on the tubes, compared to previous versions, and enjoyed the initial quality of the metal tubes. Conversely, there are significant criticisms stemming from a subset of buyers, particularly those with a mechanical background. These customers faced multiple boost leaks and cited poor fitment and finish. Specific complaints included globby welds, sharp flares, and challenges in securing the silicone boots despite the use of alternative clamps. Additionally, some reported receiving incomplete kits, missing critical components like aluminum adapters and o-rings, which compounded their frustration. The lack of effective communication from the seller also added to the dissatisfaction among some users. In summary, while the aFe Power BladeRunner kit has pleased certain customers with its performance improvements and innovative design updates, it has also faced Considerable criticism over Construction quality and incomplete shipments. Potential buyers may want to weigh these factors carefully before making a decision. **
