Seachem Flourite Dark is a fertilized soil that is excellent for planted tanks. It holds and releases nutrients very well. The substrate is coarse and rocky, and it highlights the colours of fish. One user commented that the Seachem Flourite Dark is more of a dark grey than black, but it still looks great in tanks. When putting this substrate in your tank, it is important to rinse it well. Otherwise, the user will have cloudy water for several days. One user recommended rinsing it a mesh colander until the water is clear.
