The Sure Petcare Hub is an optional accessory for use with the Sure Petcare microchip pet feeder, primarily used to connect the feeder to a mobile app. It can work from a reasonable distance from the feeder, and it is possible to assign pet names and photos within the app to track feeding habits of each pet. In theory, it can connect to ten feeders. However, customer reviews suggest that the Hub is not always reliable and can have connectivity issues. Some users report that the hub frequently disconnects and reboots profiles, and customer service appears to be no help. It requires a hardwired ethernet connection and does not have WiFi connectivity, which is a significant con. But it seems easy to set up, and it has worked well for some users.
