ElectroCookie Computer Cases Raspi DT Case_Neon Editorial Review
** ElectroCookie Raspberry Pi 5 Case** The ElectroCookie Raspberry Pi 5 Case stands out for its impressive quality and thoughtful design. This aluminum case, coupled with PCB material for the top and bottom plates, offers a unique and sturdy Construction that reassures users of its durability over time. Reviewers frequently note how this casing effectively alleviates concerns associated with plastic, such as cracking or degradation due to temperature fluctuations. A standout feature of the ElectroCookie case is its active cooling system. It includes a heatsink and a fan equipped with color-changing LEDs, which, while not visible in full brilliance due to the case's design, nonetheless adds a nice aesthetic touch when viewed at the right angle. Installation is reported to be seamless, with all Raspberry Pi ports and connections easily accessible, ensuring a hassle-free setup process. Enthusiasts highlight the potential for customization, as the case is spacious enough to accommodate various HATs, including some that allow for additional functionality, such as SSD support. The thoughtful inclusion of mounting holes and extra hardware demonstrate a commitment to user satisfaction, with many appreciating the comprehensive instructions provided. However, potential customers should be aware of some limitations. Users have voiced concerns regarding the airflow when using HATs, noting that the case can lead to higher temperature readings that may cause throttling during operation. Additionally, its compatibility issues with specific NVMe bases may deter some who wish to expand their Raspberry Pi setups. Overall, the ElectroCookie Raspberry Pi 5 Case is praised for its aesthetics, Construction quality, and cooling options, making it a recommended choice for many tech enthusiasts. **
