However, it is compatible with the HN100 and is suitable for attaching a Surco Safari Rack to it. The size of the T-nuts that slide into the top slot is more than 0.75", and the actual width and height of the bar looks to be at least an inch on all sides in a square. Overall, the Surco S48 48" Crossbar for Safari is a reliable option for those looking to attach a Surco Safari Rack to their vehicle. However, customers will need to purchase additional hardware to attach the crossbars to their roof rack.
