- The Low Boy Power Switch with 10/32 thread is a smart way to swap your bass drum beater fast. Instead of using a drum key and tiny screws, this quick release thumbscrew lets you change your beater by hand. The handle is big and easy to grip. That means you can twist it tight without tools. There's a spring inside that lets the handle ratchet, so you can move it back and forth to get more leverage. The Power Switch screws in where the old set screw goes on your pedal. It's made for Trick pedals that use a 10/32 thread. The whole idea is to save time during setup and fix problems fast if your beater slips while you play.
