Respuesta: No, this will not control your flame height. If you have a millivolt valve you could get the Skytech RCT-MLT-III remote control and it would control the flame and also the fan. If you have a SIT valve or some other brand valve there are other options as well. Respuesta: Hi, My remote is mounted in the hallway witch is at a 90 degree angle and about 12 feet in distance with the brick side of the fireplace in the line of site between the receiver and the remote and it works perfectly. -
