Despite its affordable price, the quality of this pocket watch is surprisingly good and it actually works. This pocket watch comes with a fairly lengthy neck chain, which adds to its vintage appeal. However, if you prefer a different chain, it can be easily substituted. The watch operates on an AG1 or AG4 battery, which is included and already fitted when you receive it. Some customers have mentioned that they were not familiar with how to activate the battery. To start the watch ticking, you simply push in the top button. It is important to note that this pocket watch does not wind up like old watches, but operates on a battery. One customer purchased this pocket watch to go with a Peaky Blinders costume and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. However, their kids liked it so much that they ended up taking it, so they may have to order another one to prevent arguments. Another customer mentioned that they use this pocket watch every day at work as a bus driver because knowing the correct time is important to them. They are happy with its performance and durability. In terms of its battery replacement, one customer found it a bit challenging to change the battery due to the plastic holding gate disc.
